Field Trips

This is our favorite thing about homeschooling, we get to go on lots of field trips. Godzilla Boy is particularly fond of animals. So, of course, our first field trip of the year has to be to the Richmond Metro Zoo. We go so often that we finally purchased a yearly pass.

When we got there this past week, the chimps were in full vocal form. Whoa, can they be loud! It was very energizing and made us feel as if we had morphed across the ocean to the African continent.

This pic was taken with a zoom, so it’s not really clear, but he is adorable!

Godzilla Boy has enjoyed introducing Grandpa to the zoo, and I believe he is a convert. When we compared pictures that we had taken, his were virtually the same… LOL

Of course, everytime we go, we must feed any and all animals who will like the food provided by the zoo. A fun time!!
