The kiddos party
We just had the SOTJ homeschoolers party for the kids. And it was SO much fun. The ladies who put it together did such a nice job. They decided to incorporate a talent and display portion to the party, where kids could show off their talents to everybody.
We had kids who played violin, trumpet, piano and guitar. And we had singers and poets, too. It was so nice to listen to the kids who’ve worked so hard to learn some kind of art. I loved it.
And, of course, there was a ton of food. Kids like to eat goodies, and there were lots of different kinds to choose from.
The craft table was always busy. But for the first time, Cade didn’t want to make a craft. I was sad because I like all the homemade decorations the best. But it was his party. He wanted to hang out with the other boys. I guess it’s all part of growing up.
