Just the Moms
The other night we had a Christmas party for just the moms in our homeschooling group. It was so fun and SO nice to go out with a bunch of adults, even when they are silly…lol!
We all brought a cheap gift, or a regift, to exchange in a white elephant gift exchange. I brought this weird wine glass that was painted with the words “Queen” and “Princess”. I don’t drink so it was perfect for this gift exchange.
In return, I got a nice tea cup which had a strainer for loose tea. Loved it!
Connie’s face just tells it ALL!
Some vicious stealing went on. It was hysterical. The most sought after gift was my friend Adena’s chocolate truffles. She makes them herself and they are out of this world. She has to make them every year because everyone loves them so much.
I really love the idea of the white elephant gift exchange. I wish I could convince our extended families to go for it. It’s so much fun, with so little investment.

That sounds like a totally wonderful party. Those truffles look GOOD. My kids and I made truffles (so easy!) for the first time last week. My baby can’t get enough of them.
