These are my in-laws. This photo was taken 55 years ago today.

It’s an amazing thing to have a marriage last 55 years.

Speaking of being ‘green’ and recycling………..

GB and I decided that rather than throw out his old turtle sandbox, that it would make a wonderful container garden for the free milkweed that we are growing for the butterflies.

I think it’s great that today’s current buzz words are ‘going green,’ ‘recycle,’ ‘organic,’ and ‘natural!’

Maybe we can all reverse the trends.
