Martinzoo goes to the zoo… again!
New Year’s Eve….
What do you all do?
We went to the zoo…. again….LOL! I swear we get our money’s worth out of those passes. We love the zoo. And I swear, there is always a new baby to gawk at. We love baby animals.
Mr. Orangutan
The beautiful snow leopard..
I swear this rhino was posing, she even turned to give me a side shot later.
Licking this tree must have been delicious because this giraffe never stopped the whole time we were in front of him.
There were TWO new baby camels. They were SOOOO cute! A couple of days ago they got to be stars in the zoo’s live production of the Nativity Story.
What a cute little baby lamb, huh?
We were losing sun as we got ready to leave, but I like this shot of the red kangaroo.
For dinner, we went out with the entire clan…. again…. to Uno’s. GB’s favorite thing about Uno’s is that he gets to create his own pizza and then they bake it for him. He’s very careful to not leave any ‘chunks’ on his pizza.
Then he uses ALL the cheese they give him. And it turns out perfect for him every time.
Jabem was having a LAN party at our house, so we couldn’t go home yet. So we decided to go to the movies and see “The Waterhorse.” It was a great movie. I had a horrible headache, but I still enjoyed the movie.
We got home around 10:00 and Jabem’s party was in full swing. There were computers and wires snaked around my whole upstairs. A couple of guys were playing pool, and some were in our family room playing the new Wii. After we’d been home a while they moved to the kitchen table and played poker. It was nice seeing all these college aged kids having such nice, clean fun on New Year’s Eve.
I stayed awake until the ball dropped, kissed my hubby, and went off to la-la land. Ahh, bliss!
So how was your New Year’s?
