NOW it feels like Christmas
Our day started with SNOW! It was awesome!
We were on our way to see a play at the historic Empire Theater in Richmond. We saw “A Christmas Story.” You remember that movie that came out in the 70’s? The one with the little boy, Ralphie, who wants a BB gun for Christmas. GB really enjoyed this play a lot. It was funny for one thing, but the best part for him was that there was no singing or romance….LOL! Every play we’ve been to see has been musical. So this will probably be his favorite.
When we came out of the theater it was still snowing. So walking through Richmond, in the snow, after seeing a Christmas play was just so much fun.
When Daddy came home we popped into the car and went out to the mall. We took GB to see Santa. He is still way into the believers camp. So it was really cute to see him wriggle around on Santa’s knee to get his post-it note out of his pocket. He didn’t want to get all the way to Santa’s lap and then forget to ask for what he wanted. That’s what Ralphie did in the play. So he wrote a little post-it…….. chip off the old block **grinning***
These pics were taken inside the snow globe inside the mall. It’s really cool because it’s like you are inside a snow globe with snow falling all over your body.
While we were at the mall we were even able to get some of our shopping done. So it was very productive.

Snow, huh? It looks great! We are going to be in the 80’s the next 4 days or so before cooling off again. I’m glad we’ll have some short weather. And, we’ll be heading further north for Christmas, so just MAYBE we’ll get some snow there… But, I’m happy for our warm weather. Now, I have to get started Christmas shopping!!!
Oh, and the snow globe looks really neat!! I’m sure Alexandra would love it.
