Last day at the beach.

We decide it’s going to be a GB day. Each day has been packed with so many activities. So he just wants to go to the beach and have an easy, quiet day before we come home.

We do leave the house once. GB wanted the experience of driving through a Brew Thru. So we went out and got Daddy a t-shirt, since he couldn’t come to the beach. We all thought the concept of driving into the middle of a store, and ordering through the window, was pretty neat. It’s a Nags Head tradition, but I’ve never done it. And it was fun. All we got was the t-shirt though, no brews.

This is kind of a dumb picture, but you can see that we are indeed, inside the store, while also being inside the car. Cool!

He looks bored, but GB thought it was cool, too. Actually, he was annoyed that I was taking another picture…. te-he!

Hello, you beautiful beach! You are SO quiet and clean this time of year. I love you!

This is me and my mom. Obviously I shouldn’t wear my hair away from my face. And Aquagirl is gonna tell me that I look like a fly in my sunglasses….LOL!

Before we left, GB had to torment Grampa into playing his new obsession… Risk. Grampa really made his day by agreeing. After all, it was a GB day…. we all agreed, right? And I needed the uninterrupted time to pack stuff up.

I always feel sad leaving the beach, but then I look forward to being back home, too. It’s always nice to get back to your own bed. And we did have a great trip.
