YES!!

Everybody loves Autumn weather. And they are sick of Summer heat.

But not me! I love Summer and I love the beach.

So here we are, me, GB, and my parents, mid-November, basking at the beach in Duck, North Carolina. I love it man! So here is a preview of the beach in November:

Crashing waves….. lots of surfers out. It was pretty cool to watch.

It’s early in the morning and the dogs are digging the beach. GB is just thrilled to walk one of Grampa’s dogs. This one is Newton, yes, he’s named after the scientist.

The sun is getting pretty warm now.  We’ve been walking for a while, and since GB has been sick for about a week, he’s looking a bit weary here.

For those of you who’ve wondered about Grampa, this is him. Don’t tell him he looks good, he’s VERY vain for a retired ole  gent.

Doesn’t this make you yearn for the beach? Come on, you know you wish you were here too. I try to eek out every trip to the beach that I can. And we may actually come back again in February…….we’ll see.
