Two weeks old
The baby bluebirds were two weeks old today. Here is the evolution of their development.
Birth on June 28th
I couldn’t resist a peek on day three. June 30th… See the spine?
July 5th. Poor things, they thought I was momma with some food…. Already you can see some feather development.
Monday, the 9th, day 11. Isn’t it amazing? You can already see the blue color and pattern in the wings! They are now officially beautiful!
Two weeks old, today, July 12th! They look so alert and ready. I don’t think they’ll be with me much longer.
See how cute they are now, Aquagirl? I told you they were cute!

Yep, they are cute!

Awww, very cute! We just had bluebirds fledge last week. We always call them hairy shrimp when they are born, lol.
Do you participate in the birdhouse network nest box monitoring? My oldest submits our data through them and last year even did a personality profile experiment.
