Tomatosphere ~ wk. 3
You can view our past progress in this project here and here.
On day 21 this is what our tomato sprouts look like.
In the “R” group we have 14 growing plants (of 30 total planted) and 3 that appear to have stalled out. The growth in this group is not as vigorous and the plants are shorter than the ones in the “S” group.
In the “S” group, we have 18 growing plants (of 30 planted) and 4 that seem to have stalled out. This group is growing well and has a further stage of development than the “R” group. They are taller and hardier.
After our 28th day, we will move the plants to larger accommodations and try to adopt them out to willing family/friends. My thumb is not very green and I would hate to see them die.
I will be very curious to find out which seeds have been exposed to space-like conditions. Godzilla Boy and I are hypothesising that the “S” seeds are “S”pace seeds and the “R” stands for Earth. But we could be wrong. If that were the case, then seeds exposed to space would grow better than they do here on Earth. So, I don’t know…….. hmm.
