Ugh! Somebody stop me from ever going to Walmart on a Saturday! The place is too much of a madhouse for me.
Today we had a swim meet down at the YMCA. We had a great time. GB is still off of his game a bit. The broken foot is still making itself known. He gained a bit of time, but I know his times will come back down soon. He really enjoyed playing chess with his friend Alex during the downtime. Chess is becoming his favorite game, and I’ll confess here… he’s better than me…. shhh!
We have been so excited by the Iditarod race this year. I would love to know, at each checkpoint, what the mushers actually are facing. I have heard that Dallas Seavey (Aquagirl’s musher) has got frostbite on his cheeks. And Martin Buser lost his lead dog because of a dog fight. But I do not know whether the fight was amongst his own dogs or with another musher’s dogs.

The kids around here are Chess fans, too, and they’re all better than me. If I ever need to be humbled….

Hi! My dd LOVES Webkinz, too. She got her first one with some money for Christmas. And, she got her second one after her tour of the frog exhibit. (A red-eyed tree frog - it this what GB got?) I even enjoy going online and playing. There are lots of fun things to do!
I wasn’t sure by your blog if you got an eyeball or not. I think you had a typo. You’ve got “He got Dana…” hmmm… Anyway, I know dissecting isn’t for everyone!
