…. and a sad goodbye :(
Today we went to the Science Museum… see above.
We also bid a sad farewell to our friend, Slippery. After a tearful goodbye, GB let him go off into the wild backyard. We introduced him to his new Toad Abode in the hopes that he would use it in the future. And stayed for a while to watch him acclimate. He stayed in the little dish of water for quite a while then hopped out to explore. GB was very sad, but knew that it was for the best. Ol’ Slip needed to find a winter-type dwelling for his hibernation. We’ll miss him and we hope to see him in the spring. All we have left in GB’s animal planet bedroom are Teddy, the hamster and the tiny frog, who we have determined is still too small to let go.
